“My soul wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.”

2016 marked our 50th Anniversary of “The Revivalist” publication. Here in each issue of THE REVIVALIST you will find one Sermon, three or four Short Messages, Thoughts for the Scriptures, and a few Selected Articles as we continue to share the message from God’s Word.
We request the prayers of God’s people for this effort of service.
Most people seem to feel that things are getting out of hand in our Nation. It is surely a Bible fact that the more sin increases the more trouble increases. If we will but turn back to God, He will surely turn back to us.
These words of David express my feelings perfectly. The God of my salvation does Daily Load me with benefits. The Lord saved me and I can now have an eternity of peace and joy rather trouble and pain. This is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I still have opportunities to serve, health to serve, desire to serve, and receive satisfaction and joy from serving. And, He still takes good care of me. So I say with David, "Blessed be the Lord."
We are still selling some of our books "Sermons Devotionals Thoughts." The price is $8.00 plus $1.00 for postage. If ordering more that two books send no postage. We do know of three or four that had missing pages. If you have this or any other problem with the book, let us know and we will replace it.
We need your prayers as we continue to labor in the work
of the Lord.
Shall I complain of only bread
With others hungry and unfed?
Or shall I dare to envy wealth,
When God has granted me good health?
Or fret because my house is small,
When others have no home at all?
We still have several copies of a book I wrote entitled Sermons Devotionals Thoughts.
To purchase, mail $9.00 (check or money order) to:

We will be glad to send some free for any who would use them in a jail ministry.
The Apostle Paul often asked for the prayers of others. (II Thessalonians 3:1) If he needed the prayers of others, much more do I need them. Pray for me. -Grover Laird
